Movement Contribution
As Associate Movement Director, I worked alongside movement director Jack Murphy to support a social dance scene that reflects the era’s cultural and social context. Specifically, I provided era-specific swing dance movement to help capture the lively post-war spirit, focusing on authentic swing elements that brought a sense of joy and release to a key social interaction between two young characters. This piece served as a vibrant contrast to the intense political themes of the play, illustrating the era’s optimism and social freedom.
